Plastic scrap, also known as low-grade recycled plastic, plastic scrap, or scrap plastic, is plastic produced from plastic waste, plastic waste from production or from used consumer goods. They are not classified according to high standards like recycled or virgin plastic, but are often of uneven quality and low cost. Waste from the production process: burrs, defective products, cutting edges of packaging, plastic sheets, ... Used consumer plastic: bottles, jars, plastic bags, plastic waste, electronic components, ... Imported scrap (crushed, washed or untreated) Scrap plastic can be in raw form (not recycled) or processed and pressed into granules.
